This is not a crowded Yellowstone sightseeing tour. These private Yellowstone Day Photo Tours are designed for photographers who want time to observe, compose, adjust camera settings, work with changing light, and create stronger photographs in one of America’s most remarkable landscapes. It is your time to choose what you want to do. I will offer suggestions for sightings and landscapes, but ultimately it is your Yellowstone Day Photo Tour.

Every tour is limited to just three photographers. That means more personal instruction, easier access when photographic opportunities appear, and plenty of room for long lenses, camera bags, tripods or monopods, jackets, and other photography gear.

Instruction is adapted to your experience level, camera system, and photography goals. Whether you’re still learning your camera or already comfortable in manual mode, we’ll work on making better decisions in the field and creating photographs with intention.

Authorized Yellowstone Photography Guide

Jeff & Angie Photography operates under a National Park Service Commercial Use Authorization for guided photography workshops. These are road-based photography tours—not hiking or backcountry tours—with access and walking distances governed by National Park Service regulations.

Full-Day Yellowstone Photography Tour
Spend the day photographing Yellowstone from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM. We’ll stay flexible throughout the day so we can respond to changing wildlife activity, weather, and light. Lunch is included and will be enjoyed at a Yellowstone restaurant or picnic area depending on our location and the day’s photography opportunities.

Why Only Up to Three Photographers?

More room for gear. More shooting space. More individual attention.

Limiting every Yellowstone photography tour to just two photographers leaves room for long lenses, multiple camera bodies, camera bags, tripods or monopods, extra clothing layers, and other field gear without overcrowding the vehicle.

It also allows more individual instruction with camera settings, autofocus, exposure, composition, lens choice, and field technique.

When a photographic opportunity develops, a small group can move efficiently and give each photographer the space needed to work the scene.

What to Bring

• Camera body or bodies: Don’t have a camera; we have loaner gear. Just bring an SD card.
• Wildlife and landscape lenses
• Extra batteries and memory cards
• Weather-appropriate clothing and layers
• Comfortable footwear
• Meals not mentioned, anything other than water to drink and snacks
• Lens cloth and basic camera-cleaning supplies

A Note About Wildlife:
Yellowstone is wild. Weather, wildlife locations, animal activity, road conditions, and photographic opportunities can change quickly. Specific species, sightings, locations, and photographs cannot be guaranteed.
