About Us

Jeff and Angie Birmingham are a husband and wife team who have been traveling the globe together from the time they met, jumping at every opportunity to capture the beauty of nature and all it has to offer. The images they capture are all about the outdoors and each image tells a story in natural landscapes, many with local or exotic wildlife, epic or intimate. Based in South Texas, Jeff and Angie just happen to live in one of the birdiest areas in the United States, which also is home to an abundance of native wildlife, including whitetail deer, javelinas and armadillos.

Jeff and Angie consider themselves fortunate to be able to travel as much as they do, and want to inspire people to get outside and explore. They hope to motivate others to leave the rush behind, escape their routines, go outdoors to explore and experience nature and all it has to offer.

Meet Angie Birmingham—Nature’s Storyteller Through the Lens

Angie Birmingham doesn’t just take photos—she captures the heartbeat of the wild. Based in South Texas, Angie is an award-winning landscape and wildlife photographer whose work stops you in your tracks and makes you feel the moment. Whether it’s the golden hush of a desert sunrise or the flash of a bird’s wing mid-flight, her images are both intimate and epic—like nature whispered just to her, and she answered with her camera.

Her love affair with photography started in her teens when a move to Lake Tahoe sparked a deep connection with the great outdoors. That spark turned into a fire. Over the years, Angie has traveled the world, camera in hand, chasing light, color, and those unscripted encounters with wildlife that only come to the patient and the passionate. As of April 2024, she’s identified over 350 bird species—and counting!

A graduate of the New York Institute of Photography and a Master Photographer of Photography through Professional Photographers of America (PPA), Angie’s work has graced the pages of Diesel Magazine and Focus on Texas Magazine. But what really lights her up? Teaching others to see the world differently through photography.

She and her husband, Jeff, founded WT F-STOP (yep, it’s as fun as it sounds) to offer dynamic workshops that break photography down to its most inspiring core—composition, creativity, and confidence. From intimate one-on-ones to adventurous group trips, they help everyday people create frame-worthy images while reconnecting with nature.

But Angie’s mission goes deeper. As Program Director and Master Photographer at Sharp Shooter Foto, she leads transformative youth programs that blend photography with outdoor discovery. These workshops, which are completely free, provide students aged 12 to 17 with high-quality cameras, expert instruction, and an unparalleled opportunity to explore the natural world. It’s not just about learning to shoot in manual mode—it’s about capturing their unique voice and vision.

Angie believes photography can change lives—and she’s living proof. Whether she’s leading a stargazing shoot on a 40,000-acre Texas ranch, guiding teens on their first wildlife photo, or chasing the perfect golden-hour glow, one thing’s for sure: Angie doesn’t just teach photography—she invites you on a journey.

Meet Jeff

Jeff Birmingham is an award-winning wildlife photographer based in Corpus Christi, Texas, with a lifelong love for the great outdoors. From a young age, nature was his playground—but it wasn’t until about 12 years ago that he swapped his rifle for a camera and never looked back. “It’s just like hunting,” Jeff says, “but without the cleanup.”

Since then, Jeff’s lens has taken him deep into the wild, chasing the raw power and beauty of nature—especially the majestic elk during rutting season. Big mammals are his passion, and he’s always ready to hit the road in pursuit of the perfect shot. His work speaks for itself, earning him top honors like Top 5 Photographer of the Year from 35Awards and multiple recognitions from Wyoming Wildlife Magazine, including a recent Honorable Mention that showcased his eye for storytelling through imagery.

Jeff Birmingham feels most at home under open skies, surrounded by nature. A lifelong outdoorsman, he finds peace and purpose in the wild—whether it’s the quiet rustle of elk in the trees or the stillness of a foggy morning on the plains. Wildlife photography isn’t just a hobby for Jeff—it’s a way of life. Every trip into the field is a new adventure, a chance to witness the raw beauty of nature and capture moments that many never get to see. His passion for wildlife runs deep, and it shows in every image he creates.

Together with his wife, Angie, Jeff co-leads Jeff and Angie Photography, where their shared passion for nature and photography inspires others to see the world differently—one unforgettable image at a time.
