We’ll start with the fundamentals and quickly move into real shooting situations:
How to confidently use aperture, shutter speed, and ISO
Freezing motion for bird and wildlife photography
Creating beautiful background blur (bokeh)
Photographing in challenging light conditions, particularly during golden hour and sunset, can be challenging.
Camera setup tips for nature, bird, and landscape photography
Field techniques you can use immediately
Everything is explained in clear, practical language—no confusing jargon.
This is not a classroom lecture. You’ll be:
Shooting alongside me in real time
Asking questions as situations happen
Getting immediate feedback and guidance
Learning how to adapt your settings on the fly
Bring your own camera or borrow one of mine (just bring an SD card)
Canon EF shooters may borrow lenses from my collection
A limited number of tripods are available to use during class
