Evening Bird and Landscape Photography Class for All Levels
Open to all skill levels—explore golden hour bird photography and sunset landscapes with hands‑on guidance.
Join me for two inspiring, in-person photography sessions in the evening starting at 7:00 PM and wrapping up after sunset—because that golden hour light is simply too wonderful to miss. Each class is a relaxed, hands‑on adventure where you’ll be out in the field practicing your skills, capturing birds in flight, sweeping beach scenes, glowing landscapes, and maybe even a curious critter or two.
We’ll start with the essentials—how to adjust aperture, shutter speed, and ISO—and break down what those settings actually do in clear, practical terms. You’ll learn how to create that dreamy blurred background, freeze motion, and tackle tricky lighting conditions with confidence.
Bring your own camera or borrow one of mine (just bring your own SD card). Canon EF photographers are welcome to borrow from my selection of lenses, and tripods are also available to loan during class.
Step by step, you’ll get plenty of time to ask questions, experiment, and receive real‑time feedback as you shoot.
Bonus: On Saturday night, if the skies are clear, we’ll stay out a little longer—up to about 10:30 PM—for an optional astrophotography session under the stars.
Come ready to learn, enjoy the evening light (and maybe the night sky), and leave each session with new skills—and some new favorite images!
Let’s get clicking—see you at golden hour!
Friday, July 25th, 7:00pm to dark, Port Aransas
Saturday, July 26th, 7:00pm to dark, Padre Island
I will email you the locations after you register, along with an intro to the camera to read before class to familiarize yourself with the settings.
