Jones Alta VistaRanch
Come and join Angie Birmingham and Cissy Beasly in the spring of 2022 for three days in the beautiful Rio Grande Valley on the Jones Alta Vista Ranch.
Angie Birmingham discovered her love for the outdoors as a teenager shortly after her family moved to Lake Tahoe. Her passion for landscape photography broadened after photographing birds for many years, and she’s realized she is definitely a bird watcher too. Intrigued by so many different kinds of birds, in January of 2021, Angie actually started counting the different species that she would see for the year, thus far, she is at 202 species of birds. Her first publication was in Diesel Magazine. Since then, she has been in featured in Focus on Texas Magazine, and their website numerous times. Angie started offering photography workshops and private lessons in the summer of 2019. She also has a Facebook group called WT F-STOP, and does meetups with local photographers in the South Texas area to share her knowledge with those who are struggling to get started in photography or just need a little help with camera settings. WT FSTOP was born while she was out with friends and they would ask “Hey Angie, what is the WT FStop?”. Click gallery to view her Gallery
Cissy Beasley was born and raised in South Texas into an outdoors and ranching family. Heredity, environment, training and experience have led Cissy to form an interactive and cooperative relationship with nature beginning in childhood, and flourishing ever since. Her passion for wildlife and nature photography was ignited in the Spring of 2011 during a photo session of a mother Mourning Dove and her chicks in Fulton, TX; Cissy’s enthusiasm and acumen for showcasing nature through excellence in imaging continue evolving to this day. Among the extensive list of Cissy’s photography awards and honors are five finishes as a Top-five Finalist in the South Texas-based Wildlife in Focus Photo Contest, winning the First Place Grand Prize in 2019. She is a Nikon pro shooter and a member of Nikon Professional Services. Click gallery to view her photo Gallery
